| About Us |
The Friends of the Job Lane House, Inc. are privileged to have a small collection of antiques for the furnishing of the Museum House. These are carefully accessioned, researched, and photographed by the Curator. In addition, the Bedford Historical Society has placed many of its pieces with the Friends for permanent display. Great effort is made on the one hand to have all of the pieces seen by visitors, and on the other hand to keep them safe. We seek to add to our collection. Our limited funds allow us to purchase some essential pieces, but we are very receptive to donations of furniture and artifacts that are of the period of our house, circa 1700 – 1860. The Curator receives these and determines their suitability with the advisement of the Furnishings Committee. Donations are tax deductible. If you have questions about any of the furnishings, or are considering donating an item, please contact the Curator, Sharon McDonald (781-275-5643) or at joblanefarm@gmail.com. .
