More History

A 1720 style post and beam barn was built in 1993. The Friends raised the money for the timbers and materials with the guidance and know-how from the Bedford Rotary Club, Nat Brown, Art Smith and Bill Waite, Jr., and timber-framer Thomas Musco of Royalston Oak Timber Frames, Royalston, Massachusetts. The barn was raised on June 23, 1993, through a community effort and volunteers and deeded to the Town of Bedford on November 4, 1995.
